02. Environmental Education

 

Are you interested in sustainable development? Do you want to gain practical skills to inspire change in your community? Or are you currently working on a sustainability project, and you need to refresh and build upon your current knowledge? This 6-week online program includes 6 x 2 hour sessions, tailored to people who strive to have a positive impact on our planet. This course will be guided by leaders in biodiversity conservation, sustainable tourism and environmental education.

03. Composting At Home

 

Are you looking to start a compost or worm farm? Do you want to use your compost to grow delicious, seasonal vegetables? This short course is run via a 1.5 hour online session, dedicated to sharing practical skills so you can create a thriving backyard compost. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and learn from an environmental expert and conservationist.

What You’ll Gain

  • An understanding of how composting works to benefit the soil, plants and environment

  • Insights into which materials are compostable (you’ll be surprised!)

  • A discussion on the common problems and questions

  • Practical knowledge to make composting easy, safe and enjoyable

  • Access to a range of valuable resources, so you can share the benefits of composting with your community

  • A Give Back Chile course certificate

Small Group Lessons

With only 6 – 12 participants, we’ll be there at every step of the way to explain topics and answer questions.

Education That Gives Back

At least 10% of profits will go to Chilean Non-Government Organisations - Parque Katalapi and Fundacion Legado Chile.

All courses are guided by Environmentalist, Francisca. She has extensive experience in environmental studies.

Free - 2 x complimentary spots.

Each course will have 2 complimentary spots per session, which will be kept confidential at all times. If you need this option and spots are already taken, we’ll invite you to join our waitlist. Please contact Francisca to apply for this option.

50% of the course value.

This will cover ½ of the hours we spend preparing content for the course, but not our running costs and social charities. Please contact Francisca to apply for this option.

75% of the course value

This will cover the hours we spend preparing content for the course, and partially cover our running costs, such as website maintenance and programs. Please contact Francisca to apply for this option.

100% of the course value

All of our running costs and social charities are covered! When you pay this amount, you’ll be supporting Chilean NGOs - Parque Katalapi and Fundacion Legado Chile. Also, we’ll be able to continue offering 2 complimentary spots for each course.

Want to pay more?

If you contribute over the course price, this won’t go into our back pockets. This will help us increase our annual donation to Chilean NGOs who are dedicated to conservation and environmental education in Chile. Not only that, this money will go towards 2 free courses per year, which will be offered to public schools and rural councils in Chile.
